Australian Visual Solutions are proud to announce their partnership with Chisholm Institute with the introduction of Industry and Skills Training Programs in Vinyl Design and Application.

“We are so excited to be involved on such an intimate level – this has been an ongoing project for 2 years and I am so excited for it to finally come to fruition” Managing Director Cameron Sutherland commented.

“AVS are proud to be an industry partner of Chisholm Institute and are looking to provide full support for the programs in Vinyl Design and Application for many years to come”

Minister for Training and Skills, Steve Herbert, announced at Chisholm’s Frankston Campus on 29 June the introduction of the ‘Back to Work Fund’ which supports nationally recognised qualifications to build skills in the vinyl design and application Industries leading to employment opportunities and additionally build skills within the Industry.

The course will be the first of its kind in the country and will provide professional training to new and existing Chisholm students and focus on skilling in product knowledge, Design, Software & Printing and Vinyl Application Techniques.

These new programs are part of a wider Government ‘TAFE Back to Work’ fund which is aimed at increasing opportunities for apprenticeships and traineeships and to help thousands of Victorians in the south east get back into education and into the workforce.

“Vinyl application is such an important part of our industry and to date there has been a huge demand for qualified installers.

Having a nationally recognised training course for vinyl application available will provide new entry opportunities for people and will allow the industry to continue and grow well into the future” Cameron stated.

Current industry professionals, a typical offset printer, graphic designer or spray painter can increase their skill set by easily completing a 5 day certified course and add his Government certified credentials to his or her resume.
